HomeMy WebLinkAboutG84-01 Ordinance No. G84-01 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 4 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "REVENUE AND FINANCE" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That Chapter 4 .32 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, entitled "Public Records Fees" be and is hereby further amended by amending Section 4 .32 . 010 to read as follows : 114 . 32 . 010 ESTABLISHED. There is established the following schedule of fees for copies of public records : A. Category I : Records capable of reproduction by photocopy. 1 . One to five (5) pages : no charge; 2 . Six (6) to fifteen (15) pages : ten cents ($0 . 10) per page. B. Category II : Records stored by electronic data processing: ten cents ($0 . 10) per page . C. Category III : Records stored on microfilm: twenty cents ($0 .20) per page. D. Category IV: Photographs : ten dollars ($10 . 00) for the first photograph and one dollar ($1 . 00) for each additional photograph included in the same request . E. Category V: Electronic Photographs : ten dollars ($10 . 00) for the first photograph in electronic form; fifty cents ($0 . 50) for each additional electronic photograph. F. Category VI : Audio Tapes : seven dollars ($7 . 00) for media and thirty-six dollars ($36 . 00) per hour for the operator. G. Category VII : Video Tapes : twenty dollars ($20 . 00) per tape . " Section 2 . That Chapter 4 .40 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, entitled "Traffic Accident Report Fees" be and is hereby further amended by amending Section 4 .40 . 010 to read as follows : 114 . 40 . 010 ESTABLISHED. The following fees are established for traffic accident reports : A. For regular reports . . . . . . . . . . . $ 10 . 00 B. For reports of accidents investigated by an accident reconstruction officer or accident reconstruction team . . $ 20 . 00" Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed. Section 4 .
