HomeMy WebLinkAboutG-1646 Ordinance No. G-1646 Ok AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ELGIN ZONING ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY ON RANCH ROAD IN RIVERSIDE MANOR, ELGIN, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS, written application has been made to reclassify certain property located in Units 1 and 2 in Riverside Manor from R-1, Single Family Residence District, to R-3, Two Family Residence District; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has reviewed the application and forwarded its report to the Zoning Board of Appeals and to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public hearing after due notice as provided by the statutes of the State of Illinois and the Elgin Zoning Ordinance, and has forwarded its findings and recommenda- tions to the City Council. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That Subsection B of Section 21-106 of Chapter 21 of the City Code of Elgin, Illinois, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following paragraph: That the boundaries hereinbefore laid out in the Zoning District Map, as amended, be and are hereby altered by excluding from R-1, Single Family Residence District, and including in R-3, Two Family Resident District, the following described premises: Lots 18, 19, and 20 in Riverside Manor, Unit No. 1; and Lots 21, 22, and 23 in Riverside Manor, Unit No. 2, in the City and Township of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. (Commonly known as 424, 430, 436, 442, 446, and 450 Ranch Road.) Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.
