Clark Horvath, owner of property at 915 Dundee Avenue, appeared before the Council opposing the elimination of parking between Plum Ct. and Page Street. He stated that he preferred to keep the present hours of allowing parking from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. to accommodate patrons of his business . Councilman Santanni pointed out the fact that our present ordinance prohibits all night parking even though it is not presently enforced. He stated that he had indicated at the last Council meeting that he opposed this portion of the ordinance and moved to deny the prohibition of parking from Plum Ct. to Page Street. Councilman Tillery seconded the motion. Yeas: Councilmen Bruneman, Doxey, Pearsaul, Santanni, Tillery and Mayor Rauschenberger. Nays: Councilman Landis. There were no objectors with regards to the area between Ford Avenue and Brant Drive. Councilman Santanni moved to pass an ordinance prohibiting parking on both sides of Dundee Avenue between Ford Avenue and Brant Drive (Jewel Road) . Councilman Landis seconded the motion. Yeas: Councilmen Bruneman, Doxey, Landis, Pearsaul, Santanni, Tillery and Mayor Rauschenberger . Nays: None. Ordinance No. G-1517 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, ENTITLED, TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE, AS IT PERTAINS TO STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City Code of Elgin, be, and the same hereby is, amended by including in the streets designated under Section 17-1003, on which parking is prohibited, the following: Dundee Avenue, on both sides thereof, between Ford Avenue and Brant Drive Section 2. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith be, and the same hereby are, repealed and of no further force and effect. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council. W. E . Glink, City Clerk Resolution Adopted Authorizing the Execution of a Pre-Annexation Agreement with Big Timber Development Corporation Councilman Bruneman made a motion, seconded by Councilwoman Pearsaul to adopt a reso- lution authorizing the execution of a pre-annexation agreement with Big Timber Devel- opment Corporation. Yeas: Councilmen Bruneman, Doxey, Landis, Pearsaul, Santanni, Tillery and Mayor Rauschenberger. Nays: None.
