Additional details: ITEM: Agreement with Allied Facility Partners for Solar Feasibility and Pre-Construction Services ($24,900) OBJECTIVE: Execute Professional Services Agreement with Allied Facility Partners, LLC for Solar Feasibility and Pre-Construction Services for selected City facilities in an amount not to exceed $24,900. BACKGROUND / am seeking authorization to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Allied Facility Partners, LLC to complete engineering-based solar feasibility and pre-construction services for se- lected municipal facilities. The study will evaluate the technical and financial viability of rooftop solar photovoltaic systems through site assessments, conceptual system design, energy produc- tion modeling, structural and electrical considerations, and preliminary cost estimating. In addition to evaluating project feasibility, the study will identify opportunities to maximize avail- able federal, state, and utility incentives. Completing this work in 2026 positions the City to pre- serve eligibility for currently available incentive programs and provides sufficient time to advance priority projects before key federal incentive deadlines. Deliverables will include projected construction costs, utility cost savings, available incentives, lifecycle financial analyses, payback periods, and recommendations for project prioritization. The study will provide City Council with the information necessary to evaluate future municipal solar investments. Allied Facility Partners is a part of The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), a nationally recognized cooperative purchasing program Let me know if you have any questions.
