There are no term limits for this board and the terms are five years in length. Powers and duties include holding hearings for appeals of the code officer. Meetings are held as necessary. Historically there have been very few cases. This reappointment is a housekeeping matter to ensure the board is ready should the need arise. The current membership was contacted and those listed below were open to reappointment. This structure ensures that all Council Members participate equally in making appointments, promotes fairness, and enhances transparency in the selection process. The rotation pairs two Council Members together for each appointment round, with one member rotating out each cycle.
