RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR A SANITARY SEWER LINE
(Sherman Court)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that it hereby accepts a Grant of Easement for a sanitary sewer line from Sherman
Hospital Association for the property legally described as follows:
A 10 foot wide city of Elgin sanitary sewer easement over parts of
Blocks 5 and 6 and the adjoining vacated street of Walter G. McIntosh and
Company's Fox River Farms, being a subdivision of part of Section 16,
Township 41 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, the
center line of which is described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast
corner of Lot 6 in said Block 6; thence South 00 degrees 53 minutes 32
seconds West, along the East line of said Lot 6, a distance of 56.79 feet for
the point of beginning of said center line of easement; thence South 63
degrees 40 minutes 57 seconds West, along said center line, a distance of
238.96 feet; thence South 67 degrees 53 minutes 04 seconds West, along
said center line, a distance of 268.87 feet to a point on the East line of
Lot 7 of said Block 5 that is 76.15 feet, measured along the East line of
said Lot 7, southerly of the Northeast corner of said Lot 7 for the terminus
of said center line of easement. Being situated in the city of Elgin, Kane
County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause the Grant of Easement for a sanitary sewer line to be recorded in the office of
the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
