RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE
UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE FOR
SANITARY SEWER AND WATER MAIN PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Ed Schock, Mayor, and Dolonna Mecum, City
Clerk, be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute an
Easement Agreement with the United States Postal Service for
the construction and maintenance of a sanitary sewer main and
water main across the property legally described as follows :
That part of Lot 6 of Randall Lake Crossing,
being a Subdivision of part of the Southwest quarter
of Section 16, and part of the Northwest quarter of
Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat
thereof recorded as Document No. 94K086086; said
part described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwest corner of Lot 6, thence North 90 degrees
00 minutes 00 seconds East 236 . 74 feet along the
northerly line of Lot 6, thence South 00 degrees 00
minutes 00 seconds East 6 .31 feet to a point of
beginning; thence North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00
seconds East 113 .26 feet; thence South 00 degrees 00
minutes 00 seconds East 20 . 00 feet, thence South 90
degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West 113 .26 feet,
thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West
20 . 00 feet to said point of beginning, all in Kane
County, Illinois .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to cause the Easement Agreement to be
recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Kane
County, Illinois .
