Resolution No. 98-285
RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF THE ANDERSON ANIMAL SHELTER
FOR VETERINARY SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that pursuant to Elgin Municipal Code Section
5 . 02 . 020B( 6 ) the City Council hereby finds that an exception to
the requirements of the procurement ordinance is necessary and
in the best interests of the city; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Joyce A. Parker, City
Manager, be and is hereby authorized and directed to accept the
proposal on behalf of the City of Elgin of the Anderson Animal
Shelter for veterinary services for the period December 1, 1998
through November 30, 2000, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference.
