Resolution No. 96-273
RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
(WOODBRIDGE NORTH PARK SITE)
WHEREAS, American National Bank and Trust Company of
Chicago, as Trustee under Trust No. 109526-04, has agreed to
dedicate certain real property for public purposes to the City
of Elgin; and
WHEREAS, the addition of said property to the public
property owned by the City of Elgin will benefit the City and
its residents .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that it hereby accepts the Trustee' s
Deed of American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago,
as Trustee under Trust No. 109526-04, to the City of Elgin for
the property legally described as follows :
That part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21,
Township 41 North Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian described as follows : Beginning
at a point on the East Line of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 21, 305 . 00 feet
North of the Southeast Corner of the Northwest 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 21; thence
South 89 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds West, at
right angles to said East line of the Northwest 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, 247 . 82 feet to a
point on the East line of Randall Road as dedicated
per Document No. 91K33285; thence North 30 degrees
31 minutes 23 seconds West, along the East line of
said Randall Road, 695 .89 feet to a point of
curvature; thence continuing on said East line of
Randall Road, Northerly on a curve, tangent to the
last described course, concave Easterly, having a
radius of 1512 . 7 feet, an arc distance of 421 .57
feet to a point on the North line of said Southwest
1/4 of Section 21; thence North 88 degrees 09
minutes 45 seconds East, along the North line of
said Southeast 1/4 of Section 21 , 756 . 52 feet, to
the Northeast corner of said Northwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of said Section 21; thence South 00
degrees 55 minutes 07 seconds East, along the East
line of said Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 21, 1007 . 66 to the point of beginning, in
the City of Elgin, in Kane County, Illinois .

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to record the Trustee's Deed herein
described in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of the County
of Kane County, Illinois .
