Helwig, City Manager SUBJECT: Fox Bluff Corporate Center Crispen Drive Electrical Utility Service Installation PURPOSE The purpose of this memorandum is to provide the Mayor and members of the City Council with information to enter into a contract with Commonwealth Edison Company for the installa- tion of the electrical service along the Crispen Drive right- of-way. BACKGROUND The construction of Crispen Drive between Bowes Road and McLean Boulevard will begin in July of 1996 . In order to continue the sale of lots at the Fox Bluff Corporate Center, electrical service must be installed to serve the lots adja- cent to Crispen Drive. All utility wires will be installed underground. Commonwealth Edison has engineered the installation of the service . The cost of the work is figured to be $79 , 509 . 62 . The Commonwealth Edison Customer Work Order for the project is attached. COMMUNITY GROUPS/INTERESTED PERSONS CONTACTED None. FINANCIAL IMPACT The 1996 budget includes $1 . 2 million for the construction and related expenditures of Crispin Drive. This expenditure will be charged against account number 270-0000-791 . 92-32 , project number 179529 , Fox Bluff Corporate Center Fund- Crispin in Drive.
