RESOLUTION
PROVIDING FOR A PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS FOR
THE SUPERVISORY AND DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM FOR THE
RIVERSIDE WATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin has
determined that it is necessary and desirable to utilize a
prequalification process to prequalify bidders for the
supervisory control and data acquisition system of the
Riverside Water Treatment Plant expansion; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 . 08 . 030 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, authorizes upon City Council approval the
prequalification of bidders to determine the responsibility of
prospective bidders .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the City Manager or his designee
be and is hereby authorized and directed to implement and
utilize a prequalification process to prequalify bidders for
the supervisory control and data acquisition system for the
Riverside Water Treatment Plant expansion.
