RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE AND SATISFACTION
OF JUDGMENT FOR CASE NO. 93 OV 5686, ENTITLED
CITY OF ELGIN V. JANET TAZEWELL
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Corporation Counsel Erwin W. Jentsch be and is
hereby authorized and directed to execute a Release and
Satisfaction of Judgment on behalf of the City of Elgin for
Case No. 93 OV 5686 (City of Elgin v. Janet Tazewell) on the
condition that ( 1) Ms . Tazewell tenders payment to the City of
Elgin in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000 . 00) before
6 December 1995, and (2) the Department of Code Administration
and Neighborhood Affairs determines the property commonly
known as 101-103 South Chapel Street, Elgin, Illinois,
complies with all applicable provisions of the City of Elgin
Property Maintenance Code before 6 December 1995.
