RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PAINT BOOTH EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the
corporate authorities of the City of Elgin it is not
necessary, useful, or in the best interests of the City of
Elgin, to retain the paint booth equipment located at
432 Dundee Avenue now owned by it; and
WHEREAS, Floyd Benson, owner of Floyd's Auto Body, has
offered to purchase said paint booth equipment for the sum of
$500 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . Pursuant to Section 5/11-76-4 of the Illinois
Municipal Code, Illinois Compiled Statutes, Ch. 65, Sec.
5/11-76-4, the City Council finds that the paint booth
equipment now owned by the City of Elgin is not necessary or
useful to the City of Elgin and the best interest of the City
of Elgin will be served by its sale.
Section 2 . Pursuant to said Section 5/11-76-4, the City
Manager be and he is hereby authorized and directed to sell
the paint booth equipment now owned by the City of Elgin to
Floyd Benson, owner of Floyd' s Auto Body, for the sum of $500.
