RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR A
PUBLIC SIDEWALK FROM EL MESIAS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
( 840 E. Chicago Street)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that it hereby accepts a Grant of Easement for a
public sidewalk from El Mesias United Methodist Church for the
property legally described as follows :
The Southwesterly 15 feet of Lots 20 and 21 in
Lord' s Park Terrace, a part of Lot 16 of the County
Clerk's subdivision in the Southwest Quarter of
Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 9, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to cause the Grant of Easement to be
recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois .

GRANT OF EASEMENT 960676
The Grantor, EL MESIAS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, an
Illinois religious corporation, of 12 S. Chapel Street, Elgin,
Illinois, in consideration of Ten and No/100 Dollars ($10.00) and
other good and valuable consideration in hand paid, conveys to
Grantee, CITY OF ELGIN, an Illinois municipal corporation, of
150 Dexter Court, Elgin, Illinois, its agents or successors, a
permanent, exclusive right of way and easement for sidewalk
repair and maintenance purposes on and through the land
