RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A REAL ESTATE SALES CONTRACT
WITH GIBSON GUITAR CORPORATION
(LOTS 17 AND 18-FOX BLUFF CORPORATE CENTER)
WHEREAS, an agreement for the sale of Lot 17 of the Fox
Bluff Corporate Center to Gibson Guitar Corporation was
previously approved by the City Council of the City of Elgin
on June 28, 1995, and
WHEREAS, Gibson Guitar Corporation now desires to buy
Lots 17 and 18 of the Fox Bluff Corporate Center.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Richard B. Helwig, City Manager, and Dolonna
Mecum, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized and directed
to execute an agreement on behalf of the City of Elgin with
Gibson Guitar Corporation for the purchase of Lots 17 and 18
of Fox Bluff Corporate Center, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
