RESOLUTION
ENDORSING THE METRA COMMUNITY TASK FORCE REPORT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin supported
the establishment of a METRA Community Task Force; and '
WHEREAS, the METRA Community Task Force was charged with
the responsibility for identifying issues where cooperation
between METRA and the City of Elgin would be of; mutual
benefit; and
WHEREAS, the METRA Community Task Force has submitted a
report summarizing proposed short term and long term plans
intended to address issues of concern to METRA and the: City of
Elgin and strengthen the METRA/City of Elgin partnership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin endorses the
METRA Community Task Force Report, June 1995 .
