RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR A ROADWAY
(Hiawatha Drive)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that it hereby accepts a certain plat of dedication
for a roadway prepared by Alan J. Coulson, an Illinois Land
Surveyor, and dated May 9, 1995, for the property legally
described as follows :
That part of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 7, Township 41 North, Range 9 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, described as follows :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Hiawatha Drive
as shown on Plat of Dedication recorded March 2 ,
1972 as Document No. 21824379; thence Southerly
along the Easterly extension of Hiawatha Drive to
the South line of said Southwest Quarter; thence
Westerly along said South line to a point on a line
that is 66 . 0 feet Westerly of and parallel to said
Easterly extension of Hiawatha Drive; thence
Northerly along said parallel line to the Westerly
extension of the Southerly line of Hiawatha Drive;
thence Easterly along said Westerly extension and
along said Southerly line of Hiawatha Drive to the
point of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is
hereby authorized and directed to cause said plat of
dedication to be filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois .
