RESOLUTION
EXEMPTING MEMBERS OF THE ELGIN EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SYSTEM
BOARD (E-911) FROM THE TERM LIMITATION PROVISIONS
WHEREAS, on July 14, 1986 the Elgin City Council adopted
a resolution establishing a policy concerning limitation of
the terms of members of boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Elgin
to exempt the Elgin Emergency Telephone System Board (E-911)
from the term limitation provisions established by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the term limitation established
by resolution on July 14, 1986 shall not apply to members of
the Elgin Emergency Telephone System Board (E-911) .
