Traynoff, an Illinois Land Surveyor, and dated June 3, 1994 , for the property legally described as follows : That part of the South East 1/4 of Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 9 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, City of Elgin, Cook County, Illinois described as follows : Beginning at an old 1 inch iron pipe 1042 . 80 feet east of the North West corner of said South East 1/4, as measured along the North line of said South East 1/4; thence continuing East along said North line of the South East 1/4 , a distance of 243 . 06 feet, to an old 7/8 inch iron pipe; thence southerly along a line measured 79 degrees 20 minutes 41 seconds to the left of the last described course, a distance of 17 . 30 feet; thence west along a line deflecting 79 degrees 20 minutes 41 seconds to the right of the prolongation of the last described course (also being parallel with said North line of the South East 1/4 of Section 18) , 243 . 00 feet, to a point 0 . 15 feet North and 0 . 15 feet East of an old 1 inch iron pipe; and thence northerly along a line deflecting 100 degrees 28 minutes 02 seconds to the right of the prolongation of the last described course, 17 . 29 feet, more or less, to an old 1 inch iron pipe at the place of beginning. Helwig, City Manager SUBJECT: Proposed Bode Road Right-of-Way Dedication by St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church PURPOSE This memorandum will provide the Mayor and Council with information to consider acceptance of the subject Right-of- Way Dedication. BACKGROUND An application was filed with the City (Petition #41-93) for a rezoning of the property to construct a church. As part of the rezoning, the owner agreed to dedicate additional right-of-way along its northern property line adjacent to Bode Road. This right-of-way dedication consists of an additional 17 . 3 feet along the south side of the existing Bode Road right-of-way. Bode Road, before adjoining properties annexations to the City, was a Hanover Township Road having a right-of-way width of 66 feet. With the annexations, the City began requesting additional right-of-way to establish an eventual . 100 foot right-of-way for future roadway widening. These right-of-way dedications consisted of approximately 17 feet of additional right-of-way on the north and south sides of Bode Road. The subject dedication is consistent with the City' s previous pattern of dedications. A location map is attached for your consideration. COMMUNITY GROUPS/INTERESTED PERSONS CONTACTED None.
