RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE THE UNDERGROUND AND SURFACE
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE OTTER CREEK SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for
maintenance the underground and surface improvements, which
include, water main, sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer lift
station and the South Street extension with applicable
appurtenances in the Otter Creek Subdivision.

SUBJECT: Final Acceptance of All Public Improvements
in the Otter Creek Shopping Center Subdivision
PURPOSE
This memorandum will provide the Mayor and Council with
information necessary to consider final acceptance of the
subject subdivision.
BACKGROUND
The developer, Trident Developments, Inc. , has completed all
public improvements in the Otter Creek Shopping Center
Subdivision. The developer is requesting that the City accept
all public improvements for ownership and maintenance. The
improvements include water main, sanitary sewer, sanitary
sewer lift station and the South Street extension with
applicable appurtenances.
Public Works staff has inspected the completed public
improvements to verify that they have been constructed in
accordance with the approved subdivision engineering plans .
These inspections have been completed and no outstanding
deficiencies exist.
COMMUNITY GROUPS/INTERESTED PERSONS CONTACTED
' None.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There shall be no costs associated with this acceptance other
than the usual items performed on City maintained

LEGAL IMPACT
None.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that City Council accept all the public
improvements within the Otter Creek Shopping Center
Subdivision and direct staff to prepare the necessary
resolution.
