RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF BURNIDGE CASSELL ASSOCIATES FOR
PHASE 2 ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR REROOFING HEMMENS AUDITORIUM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Larry L. Rice, City Manager, be and is hereby
authorized and directed to accept the proposal on behalf of
the City of Elgin of Burnidge Cassell Associates for Phase 2
architectural services required for the reroofing of the
Hemmens Auditorium, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof by reference.

Dear Mr. Kaiser: •
We appreciate having the opportunity to submit the following proposal for
architectural services as required for the reroofing of the Hemmens Auditorium. •
Proposed Services
1) Preparation of working drawings and specifications as required for
competitive bids.
Services Not Included
1) Coordination of the bidding phase.
2) Standard services during construction including on-site
observations, review of pay requests, final punch list, etc.
3) Mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
4) Structural engineering.
• 5) Services related to asbestos assessment or removal.
6) Material testing services. •
Proposed Fee
•
The fee for the services outlined above would be computed on an hourly
• basis not to exceed $4,760.00 including reimbursable printing expenses.
Enclosed is a copy of our hourly rates.
