RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
(Woodbridge South)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that it hereby accepts a certain plat of dedication
for public right of way prepared by Sargeant Engineering
Company, Ltd. , an Illinois Land Surveyor, and dated May 20,
1991 and revised June 3 , 1991, August 6 , 1991 and September
24 , 1991 , for public right of way for the property legally
described as follows :
That part of the North Half of Section 33,
Township 41 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows :
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said
Section 33; thence easterly along the North line of
said section, a distance of 1605 . 78 feet to the
Northeast corner of land conveyed by deed dated
September 18, 1900, and recorded December 10, 1900
in Book 404 , Page 422 , as Document 48033; thence
continuing easterly along the North line of said
Section 33, a distance of 1035 . 92 feet
(deed) /1035 . 39 feet ( survey) to the Northeast corner
of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 33; thence
S-00° 43 ' 10"-E along the East line of said
Northwest Quarter, a distance of 1431 . 87 feet to the
centerline of Hopps Road; thence S-87° 18 ' 14"-W
along said centerline, a distance of 271 . 38 feet to
the point of beginning; thence S-01° 04 ' 28"-E, a
distance of 528 . 80 feet; thence S-88° 55 ' 32"-W, a
distance of 176 . 99 feet to a point of curvature to
the right having a radius of 230 . 00 feet; thence
along the arc of said curve a distance of 212 . 90
feet to a point of tangency; thence N-38° 02 ' 21"-W,
a distance of 98 . 49 feet to a point of curvature to
the left having a radius of 170 . 00 feet; thence
along the arc of said curve, a distance of 271 . 63

distance of 466 . 82 feet to the centerline of Hopps

feet to the point of beginning, containing 99 , 285
square feet, or, 2 . 2792 acres , all in Kane County,
Illinois .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is
hereby authorized and directed to cause said plat of
dedication to be filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Kane
County, Illinois .
