RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF LAMP INCORPORATED FOR
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING TESTIMONY AND REPORT FOR CASA LINDA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Larry L. Rice, City Manager, be and is hereby
authorized and directed to accept the proposal on behalf of
the City of Elgin of Lamp Incorporated for construction
engineering testimony and report for Casa Linda, a copy of
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference .

Dear Sir:
We, Lamp Incorporated, propose to furnish all construction estimating
services required for your upcoming court case concerning the
referenced building for the fee of EIGHTY-FIVE AND NO/100 DOLLARS per
hour ($85. 00/hr) plus expenses. The services will include, but are
not limited to:
1. Construction estimate to reconstruct and restore existing struc-
ture to meet the present building codes.
2 . Construction estimate to replace the building exclusive of the
foundation and excavation.
3 . Court testimony, deposition, etc.
4 . Meetings with City of Elgin Officials as required.
5. Written proposal.
If you are in agreement with our services and fees, please issue a
purchase order, contract, letter of agreement, etc. for our records.
Attached please find a copy of a calendar for the months of August and
September. I have blocked out the dates that I would not be able to
be in court. Other items listed on the calendar can be missed or
rescheduled. When you have rescheduled the court date, please let me
know so I do not schedule any appointments for that day.
