AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE STATE OF ILLINOIS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
DIVISION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
AND
THE CITY OF ELGIN
(Contract No. 403)
This Amendment Number 1 to an Agreement dated October 12, 1977
between the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation and
the City of Elgin hereby made and entered into by the parties
thereto in order to adjust the Net Project Cost to reflect the
final actual cost for design engineering and construction. In
consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein and in
such Agreement as hereby amended, the Parties agree as follows:
1 . To amend "ITEM 2 - "AMOUNT OF GRANT" by revising the
net project cost to reflect the final costs of design
engineering and construction as follows:
Net Project Cost - $635,399
Federal Share - 571,859 (90%)
State Share - 63,540 (10%)
The parties hereto agree that the Agreement dated October 12,
1977, as amended between the Parties is in all other respects
ratified and reaffirmed and that it continues in full force and
effect as hereby amended.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have caused this Amendment
Number 1 to be made effective and executed this %St' day

Dear Mr. Ridley:
Enclosed please find your copy of Budget No. 6 and the executed
Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement between the State of
Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Public
Transportation and the Village of Morton Grove for design
engineering and construction of the National St. and Big Timber
Commuter parking projects located in the City of Elgin.
Except for final State and Federal audits, all administrative
procedures for this project have been completed. Please retain
all project records for a period of three years unless a
shorter period is specifically authorized by this office.
The State will require annual reports regarding the use of
these facilities. The appropriate format for the reports will
be sent to you at a later date.
