FORM OF CONTRACT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this Twelfth day of March , in
the year Nineteen Hundred Eighty Seven, by and between
Asbestos Control , Inc. , 520 Bennett Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
a corporation , organized and existing under the laws of the State
of X , hereinafter called the "Contractor" , and the City of
Elgin WITNESSETH, that the Contractor and the City of Elgin for the consid-
eration stated herein mutually agree as follows:
Article 1. Statement of Work
The Contractor shall furnish all labor , materials , equipment and
services , and perform and complete all work required for
Asbestos Abatement in the Elgin Municipal Complex in accordance
with your Alternate Bid - Accelerated Schedule proposal .
Article 2. The Contract Price
The City of Elgin shall pay to the Contractor for the performance
of the Contract , in current funds , subject to additions and deductions
as provided in the specifications , the sum of fifty-seven thousand,
two-hundred sixteen and 00/100 Dollars ($ 57,216.00 ),
Article 3. Contract Documents
The contract shall consist of the following parts:
1 . This Instrument .
2. Invitation to Bid #87-2, Accelerated Schedule ($51,666) .
3. Your letter, dated February 18, 1987, extra work ($2400) .
4. Your letter, dated March 11, 1987, extra work ($3150 - regular hours only) .
5. Purchase Order #67145.
FORM OF CONTRACT
This Instrument , together with the other documents enumerated in this Article 3,
which said other documents are as fully a part of the contract as if hereto
attached or herein repeated , from the contract . In the event any provision
in any component part of this contract conflicts with any provision of any other
component part , the provisions of the component part first enumerated in this
Article 3 shall govern, except as otherwise specifically stated. The various
provisions in Addenda shall be contrued in the order of preference of the comp-
onent part of the contract which each modified.
