APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. I IN THE CONTRACT WITH
MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS, INC. FOR THE
COMMUNICATIONS CENTER AND SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Elgin has heretofore entered into a contract with Motorola
Communications and Electronics, Inc. for the communications center and system; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to modify the terms of the contract as is
described in Change Order No. I, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that Robert O. Malm, Acting City Manager, be and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. I, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

Contract Change
Purpose:
Make necessary modifications to new radio system and to
provide technical assistance during the removal of the
old radio console.
Task Discription:
Add mem-o-alert option to 3 existing Pageboy II pagers.
This includes pick up and delivery.
Install 3 monitor speakers with volume control in first
floor office for monitoring of Police 1, Police 2 and
Fire radio traffic.
Replace existing Point to Point DC desk top controller
in EOC room with a reconditioned tone control T1600.
NOTE! Same as used for Police 1, 2 and Fire.
Change in Contract Price:
None. Provide McHenry County Communications with 10 VHF
police portable radios.
