RYERSON PARK IMPROVEMENTS
CHANGER ORDER NO. 2 & FINAL
SCOPE. This Change Order No. 2 & Final covers the following additions to certain
contract quantities:
Item 1 . Spirea b. Froebeli (Spirea) 1 Each
Item 2. Sodding 245 Square Yards
Item 3. #8 Stranded Copper U.S.E. 560 Lineal Feet
(Single Conductor)
Item 4. Chain Link Fence, 48" High 95 Lineal Feet
REASON FOR CHANGE
Item 1 . It was necessary to add 1 more Spirea to fill in the landscaping
along the new fence.
Item 2. Because of the heavy use of the new play equipment the existing
paths were also sodded to give the grass a chance at survival that would
not be possible with seed.
Item 3. The original plan called for a two (2) wire system to serve the
new light fixtures. When Commonwealth Edison installed the new service
connection they requested that we install a three (3) wire system to be
compatable with there new connection.
Item 4. An incorrect quantity was specified for the chain link fence. The
contract quantity was 105 Lineal Feet. The actual quantity necessary in the
field was 200 lineal feet.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES IN CONTRACT AMOUNT. The contract shall be revised on the
following basis:
Item 1 . Spirea b. Froebeli (Spirea) 1 Ea. @ $19'00 $ 19'80
Item 2. Sodding 245 S.Y. @ @3.60 882. 00
Item 3. #8 Stranded Copper U.S.E.

Total Addition to the Contract Amount $2,782'00

By reason of this Change Order No. 2 & Final , the contract cost shall be
increased in the amount of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Two Dollars
(2,782.00) .
OTHER CONTRACT PROVISIONS. All other provisions of the contract shall remain
the same.
