APPROVING A PLAT OF VACATION
WHEREAS, the mmer of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Kennington Square
Subdivision made a written application for the vacation of said lots;
and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Committee conducted a public hearing on said
vacation after due notice as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Committee recommended that Lots 1, 2, 3, 4
and 5 in Kennington Square in the City of Elgin, Cook County, Illinois,
be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that it hereby approves the plat of vacation for Lots 1,
2, 3, 4 and 5 of Kennington Square in the City of Elgin, Cook County,
Illinois.
BE IT FURTER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said plat of vacation.

PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR
KENNINGTON SQUARE
Rob Roll , Assistant Community Development Director, stated that the
petitioner, Mr . Kresmery, had a record plat recorded, which you have
just vacated, and in order to properly convey title of the w its
which are to be sold as condominiums , you would have to approve and
` allow for our signatures on this plat , which was supplied to. you,
so that Mr. Kresmery in turn may close on the property, or convey
the sale of the individual units to prospective buyers .
Councilman Barnes made a motion, seconded by Councilman Hill , to
approve the preliminary and final plat for Kennington Square . Yeas :
Councilmen Barnes , Gilliam, Hill , Kirkland, Nelson, West and Mayor
Verbic. Nays : None.
