GRANT OF EASEMENT
The Grantor, Hugh D. Egger and .oy
of 12 Allen Drive, of the City of Elgin, County of Kane, State of Illinois,
for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and
valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and the
further benefits derived by the remaining property as a result of planned
public improvements, do hereby grant and convey to the City of Elgin, a
municipal corporation, duly organized and existing under and by virtue of
the Constitution of the State of Illinois, an easement for the construction
and maintenance of an underground storm sewer in,: upon and over the follow-
ing described real property in the City of Elgin, County of Kane, State of
Illinois, more particularly described as:

The Southerly 10 feet of Lot 18, Second Addition to
Highview Hills.

This Grant of Easement is executed, delivered and is granted upon
the following conditions, to-wit:
Grantors, their heirs and assigns, hereby release the City of
Elgin, its agents and employees, assigns and successors, from any and all
liability for damage to our remaining lands resulting from this conveyance
and construction and maintenance of said storm sewer, by the City of Elgin,
its agents and employees, assigns and successors, will at all times prosecute
all work upon the premises with reasonable care, skill and diligence and upon
completion thereof will promptly restore all grounds, roads and sidewalks to
their original condition, except for the restoration of such trees, shrubs and
plants as may have to be removed in connection with the installation, maintenance
and operation of said storm sewer.
Grantors agree that no buildings will be Constructed over this ease-
ment.
