RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that it hereby accepts the plat of easement dated June 21, 1978 prepared
by Richard E. Bailey, Illinois Land Surveyor, for temporary construction
purposes, on the following described property:
That part of the North half of Section 27, Township 41
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the
Easterly right-of-way line of McLean Boulevard. (State Aid
Route 8) with the South line of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section 27; thence Easterly along
the South line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 27, a distance of 803.5 feet, more
or less, to the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter of said Section 27; thence Easterly
along the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 27, a distance of 343.2 feet; thence
Northerly along a line parallel with the West line of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 27,
a distance of 50 feet; thence Westerly along a line parallel
with the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 27, a distance of 343.2 feet to the
West line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
said Section 27; thence Westerly along a line parallel with the
South line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
said Section 27, a distance of 799.4 feet, more or less, to the
Easterly right-of-way line of McLean Boulevard (State Aid Route
8) ; thence Southerly along the Easterly right-of-way line of
McLean Boulevard (State Aid Route 8) a distance of 50.2 feet,
more or less, to the Place of Beginning. Being situated in the
City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois and containing 1 .31 acres,
more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of construction
the surface of said property should be restored to the condition
which existed prior to commencement of construction.
