RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR STREET PURPOSES
AT NORTH LYLE AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that it hereby accepts the plat of dedication dated November 10, 1977
prepared by Richard E. Bailey, an Illinois Land Surveyor, dedicating the
following described property to the City of Elgin for street purposes:
That part of Fractional Section 4, Township 41 North,
Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as
follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of a tract of
land conveyed to Western United Gas and Electric Company
dated May 9, 1947 and recorded May 13, 1947 in Book 1351,
page 227, as Document No. 580786, said Southwest corner
being a point on the center line of Big Timber Road; thence
Northwesterly along said center line, a distance of 1010.77
feet to a point on said center line that is 600.0 feet South-
easterly of (as measured along said center line) the most
Southeasterly corner of a tract of land conveyed to Sidney G.
and Alice J. Burnidge by deed dated March 31, 1958 and
recorded April 2, 1958 in Book 1886, Page 128, as Document
No. 858655; thence Northeasterly at right angles to the last
described course, a distance of 33.0 feet for the place of
beginning; thence Northwesterly parallel with the center
line of Big Timber Road, a distance of 80.0 feet; thence
Northeasterly at right angles to the last described course,
a distance of 602.0 feet; thence Southeasterly parallel with
the center line of Big Timber Road, a distance of 80.0 feet;
thence Southwesterly at right angles to the last described
course, a distance of 602.0 feet to the place of beginning.
Being situated in the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois.
