RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR LEHMAN DRIVE
WHEREAS, a plat of dedication for a public street to be known as
Lehman Drive has been presented to the corporate authorities of the City
of Elgin; and
WHEREAS, said corporate authorities have reviewed said plat and find
it to be in compliance with the requirements of the City of Elgin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS that a certain plat of dedication for a public street
prepared by Richard E. Bailey, an Illinois Land Surveyor on March 22,
1974 for a public street over the following legally described property:
An 80 foot wide strip of land over that part of the
Northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 41 North, Range 9
East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the South right of way line
of State Route 19 with the center line of Lovell Road; thence
South 7 degrees 20 minutes West along said center line, a
distance of 1023.36 feet; thence North 82 degrees 40 minutes
West, a distance of 33.0 feet to the Westerly right of way line
of Lovell Road for the place of beginning; thence South 7 degrees
20 minutes West along said Westerly right of way line, a distance
of 40.0 feet; thence North 82 degrees 40 minutes West, a distance
of 118.97 feet; thence Northwesterly and Northerly along a curve
to the right having a radius of 388.00 feet and being tangent to r\
the last described course, a distance of 568.01 feet; thence
Northerly along a curve to the left having a radius of 1963.00 feet Ao
and being tangent to the last described curve, a distance of
514.96 feet to the Southerly right of way line of State Route 19;
thence Easterly along said Southerly right of way line, being
along a curve to the left having a radius of 1795.23 feet; a -A
distance of 80.00 feet; thence Southerly along a curve to the right
having a radius of 2043.00 feet, a distance of 535.93 feet; thence
Southerly and Southeasterly along a curve to the left having a
radius of 308.00 feet and being tangent to the last described curve,
a distance of 450.90 feet; thence South 82 degrees 40 minutes East
along a line tangent to the last described curve, a distance of
118,97 feet to the Westerly -right of way line of Lovell Road; thence
South 7 degrees 20 minutes West along said Westerly right of way
line, a distance of 40.0 feet to the place of beginning. Being
situation in the City of Elgin, Hanover Township, Cook County,
Illinois and containing 2.233 Acres more or less.
