RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION OF CHURCH ROAD.
WHEREAS the owners of record have submitted a plat of dedication of
Church Road, west of Illinois State Route 31, in the City of Elgin,
Illinois, for a public street, for approval and acceptance by the City
Council of the City of Elgin, Illinois; and
WHEREAS it is in the public interest that said plat of dedication for
Ja public street be accepted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL;OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
V1 ILLINOIS:
That a certain plat of dedication for street purposes of Church Road
west of Illinois State Route 31 located in Elgin, Illinois and submitted
and identified as a plat prepared by Alan V. Eck, a registered land surveyor,
on September 4, 1973, dedicating the following described land to wit:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 33, Township and Range afore-
said; Thence Southerly, along the Westerly line of the Northeast
quarter of said Southeast quarter 1154.32 feet to the Northerly
line of Parcel No. N-4D-62.1, acquired by the Illinois State Toll
Highway Commission through proceedings filed in the Circuit Court
of Kane County, Illinois, as Case No. 57-305; Thence Easterly along
said Northerly line being along a line forming an angle of 90
degrees 55 minutes 45 seconds as measured clockwise from the last
described course, 2610.30 feet to the Westerly line of a tract of
land conveyed to the Illinois State Toll Highway Commission by
Deed Recorded October 28, 1957 as Document No. 847718; Thence
Northeasterly, along said Westerly line, being along a line forming
an angle 139 degrees 21 minutes 53 seconds measured clockwise from
the last described course, 178.80 feet to an angle in said Westerly
line; Thence Northeasterly, along said Westerly line, being along a
line forming an angle of 139 degrees 22 minutes 37 seconds measured
clockwise from the last described course, 739,85 feet for the place of
beginning; Thence Westerly, along a line forming an angle of 81
degrees 15 minutes 30 seconds as measured clockwise from the last
described course, 680.68 feet; to the Westerly line extended Southerly
of a tract of land conveyed to the American Lutheran Church by Deed
recorded August 27, 1964 as Document 1029993; Thence Northerly along
the extension of said Westerly line. Being along a line forming an
angle of 89 degrees 47 minutes 35 seconds as measured counter-clockwise
from the last described course 66.0 feet to the Southwest corner of
said lands conveyed to the American Lutheran Church; Thence Easterly,
along the South line of said lands conveyed to the American Lutheran
Church, being along a line forming an angle of 89 degrees 47 minutes
35 seconds to the right with a prolongation of the last described
course, 690.59 feet to the Westerly line of a tract of land conveyed
to the Illinois State Toll Highway Commission by Document No. 847718,
as aforesaid; Thence Southwesterly, along said Westerly line, 66.78
feet to the place of beginning in Dundee Township, Kane County,
Illinois.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to accept said plat of dedication for and on behalf of the
City of Elgin, Illinois and to cause said plat to be recorded with the
Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
