RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR HUNTER DRIVE.
WHEREAS the owners of record of certain property have submitted a plat
of dedication for a public street, for approval and acceptance by the City
Council of the City of Elgin, Illinois; and
WHEREAS it is in the public interest that said plat of dedication for
a public street be accepted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
That a certain plat of dedication for a public street heretofore sub-
mitted and identified as a plat prepared by Richard E. Bailey, Illinois
Land Surveyor, dedicating to the City of Elgin a 60 foot wide strip of land
for use as a public street to be known as Hunter Drive, and legally described
as follows:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 41
North, Range 9 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described
as follows: Beginning at the most Northeasterly corner of
Parkwood Unit No. 3, being a Subdivision of part of the North-
east Quarter of Section 18, Township and Range aforesaid, said
point being on the Easterly line of Hunter Drive as platted in
said Parkwood Unit No. 3; thence Northerly along said Easterly
line, extended Northerly, a distance of 414.11 feet to the
Southerly line of State Route 58; thence Westerly along said
Southerly line, a distance of 60 feet more or less to a point on
the Westerly line, extended Northerly, of Hunter Drive, as
aforesaid; thence Southerly along said Westerly line, extended
Northerly, a distance of 416.57 feet to the Northerly end of
said Hunter Drive; thence Easterly along said Northerly end, a
distance of 60.11 feet to the place of beginning. Being situated
in the City of Elgin, Cook County, Illinois and containing 0.572
Acre more or less.
be and the same is hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Elgin
are hereby authorized to execute said plat of dedication for and on behalf of
the City of Elgin, Illinois.

Re: Documents to be Recorded in Cook County
Please record the attached plat of dedication for street
purposes for Hunter Drive. The original and seven copies of the
plat are attached along with eight certified copies of the resolution
adopted by the Elgin City Council on May 9, 1973. (Please note that
the Certificate of County Clerk relative to no delinquent taxes has
been made on the plat) .
The original plat should be returned to me for our files.
The attorney for the developer is anxious to receive the recorded
document number.
Attached also is evidence of payment of the tax bill.
