RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN WATERFORD NEIGHBORHOOD 2 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public improvements
within Waterford Neighborhood 2 Subdivision which will include streets, watermains, fire
hydrants,valve vaults, sanitary sewers,manholes, storm sewers, catch basins, flared end sections,
streetlights, street signs, roadway, curb and gutter. Acceptance of the public improvements will
add the following city maintained facilities: Approximately 45 lineal feet of 6-inch watermain;
4,522 lineal feet of 8-inch watermain; 8 valves in 4-foot vaults; 15 fire hydrants; 4,077 lineal feet
of 8-inch sanitary sewer; 21 sanitary manholes; 1,627 lineal feet of 12-inch RCP storm sewer;
2,806 lineal feet of 15-inch RCP storm sewer; 482 lineal feet of 18-inch RCP storm sewer; 152
lineal feet of 21-inch RCP storm sewer; 95 lineal feet of 24-inch RCP storm sewer; 29 lineal feet
of 30-inch RCP storm sewer; 29 lineal feet of 33-inch RCP storm sewer; 1,395 lineal feet of 42-
inch RCP storm sewer; 88 lineal feet of 48-inch RCP storm sewer; 63 lineal feet of 54-inch RCP
storm sewer; 239 lineal feet of 60-inch RCP storm sewer; 33 catch basins; 27 storm manholes; 1
flared end section; 4,142 lineal feet of improved street; 21 streetlights 13 signs, and their
appurtenances to the city-maintained facilities.
