RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN BOWES CREEK COUNTRY CLUB PHASE 4C SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public improvements
within Bowes Creek Country Club Phase 4C Subdivision which will include streets, watermains,
fire hydrants, valve vaults, sanitary sewer, manholes, storm sewers, catch basins, flared end
sections, streetlights, street signs, sidewalks, roadway, curb and gutter, and parkway trees.
Acceptance of the public improvements will add the following city maintained facilities:
Approximately 3,100 lineal feet of 8-inch watermain; 5 valves in 4-foot vaults; 10 fire hydrants;
4,654 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer; 1,778 lineal feet of 12-inch RCP storm sewer; 301 lineal
feet of 15-inch RCP storm sewer; 1,434 lineal feet of 18-inch RCP storm sewer; 674 lineal feet of
24-inch RCP storm sewer; 37 catch basins; 17 storm manholes; 6 flared end section; 4,765 lineal
feet of improved street (including curb and gutter on both sides of the street); 9,794 lineal feet of
sidewalk; 16 signs; 22 streetlights, and their appurtenances to the city-maintained facilities.
