RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PLAT OF EASEMENT FROM ELGIN MEDICAL
VENTURES, LLC AND ACCEPTANCE FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE
CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE SITE LOCATED AT 1550 N.
RANDALL ROAD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and accept a Plat of Easement for 1550 N. Randall Road from Elgin
Medical Ventures, LLC regarding the property legally described on said plat prepared by R.E.
Allen and Associates, Ltd. with a fieldwork completion date of October 9, 2020, last revised on
December 16, 2024 a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS,that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Plat of Easement for
1550 N. Randall Road to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County,
Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public
improvements within 1550 N. Randall Road which will include watermain, fire hydrants and
sidewalks. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the following city maintained
facilities: Approximately 915 lineal feet of eight-inch watermain; one eight-inch valve in 60-inch
vault; one six-inch valve in 60-inch vault; three fire hydrants;476 lineal feet of five-foot sidewalk
and all their respective appurtenances to the City maintained facilities.
