RESOLUTION
ADOPTING THE THREE-YEAR FINANCIAL PLAN
WHEREAS, strategic goals and policies for the community were formulated from
extensive dialogue and incorporated into the 2024 Budget and 2024-2026 Financial Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted extensive budget reviews and policy
discussions throughout the months of November and December; and
WHEREAS, the Proposed 2024 Budget and 2024-2026 Financial Plan have been placed
on tile for public review with the City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the Three-Year Financial Plan is hereby adopted as a policy document of
the city as an additional guide for strategic planning and operations.
