RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE BOWES CREEK COUNTRY CLUB PHASE 4B
SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin hereby accepts, for ownership and maintenance in the Bowes Creek Country
Club Phase 4B Subdivision the following public improvements: streets, watermains, sanitary
sewers, force main, lift station, storm sewers, streetlights, street signs, sidewalks, parkway trees
and their related appurtenances. Acceptance of these improvements will add the following
maintained facilities: 3,020 lineal feet of eight-inch watermain; 2,300 lineal feet of twelve-inch
watermain; 139 lineal feet of six-inch watermain; four, eight-inch valves in four-foot vaults; six,
twelve-inch valves in five-foot vaults; 26 fire hydrants; 4,343 lineal feet of eight-inch sanitary
sewer; 37 lineal feet of ten-inch sanitary sewer; 26 sanitary manholes; 1,947 lineal feet of eight-
inch PVC force main, 1,991 lineal feet of twelve-inch RCP storm sewer; 1,352 lineal feet of
fifteen-inch RCP storm sewer; 620 lineal feet of eighteen-inch RCP storm sewer; 668 lineal feet
of 24-inch RCP storm sewer; 297 lineal feet of 30-inch RCP storm sewer; 512 lineal feet of 36-
inch RCP storm sewer; 30 catch basins; twenty storm manholes; four flared end sections; 3,435
lineal feet of improved street (including curb and gutter on both sides of the street); 8,958 lineal
feet of sidewalk;eighteen signs;sixteen street lights;and their appurtenances to the city maintained
facilities.
