RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE BOWES CREEK COUNTRY CLUB PHASE 4A
SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin hereby accepts, for ownership and maintenance in the Bowes Creek Country
Club Phase 4A Subdivision the following public improvements: streets, watermains, sanitary
sewers, streetlights, street signs, sidewalks, parkway trees and their related appurtenances.
Acceptance of these improvements will add the following maintained facilities: 1,816 lineal feet
of 8-inch watermain; 1,625 lineal feet of 12-inch watermain; three 8-inch valves in 4-foot vaults;
one twelve inch valve in 5-foot vault; 13 fire hydrants; 1,954 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer;
1,482 lineal feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer; 21 sanitary manholes; 845 lineal feet of 12-inch RCP
storm sewer; 870 lineal feet of 15-inch RCP storm sewer; 608 lineal feet of 18-inch RCP storm
sewer; 1,305 lineal feet of 24-inch RCP storm sewer;44 catch basins; 17 storm manholes; 3 flared
end sections; 3,183 lineal feet of improved street (including curb and gutter on both sides of the
street); 6,880 lineal feet of 5 foot sidewalk; 15 signs; 14 street lights; 170 parkway trees; and their
appurtenances to the city maintained facilities.
