RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE TALL OAKS UNIT 5 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin hereby accepts, for ownership and maintenance in the Tall Oaks Unit 5
Subdivision the following public improvements: streets, sidewalks, watermains, sanitary sewer,
storm sewer, streetlights, street signs, parkway trees and their related appurtenances. Acceptance
of these improvements will add the following maintained facilities: 1,690 lineal feet of 8-inch
water main, five 8-inch valves in 4-foot vaults, one 8-inch valve in a 6-foot vault, 4 fire hydrants,
1,754 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 14 sanitary manholes, 296 lineal feet of 12-inch storm
sewer, 262 lineal feet of 15-inch storm sewer, 154 lineal feet of 18-inch storm sewer, 132 lineal
feet of 36-inch storm sewer, 4 storm manholes, 9 catch basins/inlets, , 7 street lights, 2 street
signs, 1,122 lineal feet of improved street, 2,243 lineal feet of curb and gutter, 11,915 square feet
of sidewalk, 50 parkway trees and their appurtenances to the city maintained facilities.
