RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT APPLICATION FROM THE UNITED
STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOREST SERVICE THROUGH DIRECTION
OF THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES URBAN & COMMUNITY
FORESTRY PROGRAM FOR THE 2022 URBAN AND COMMUNITY FORESTRY GRANT
PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute a grant
application from the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service Through Direction
of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Urban & Community Forestry Program for the
2022 Urban and Community Forestry Grant Program, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof by reference.
