RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A FINAL PLAT OF EASEMENT FOR HIGHLAND
WOODS—NEIGHBORHOOD B LOTS 595, 596, 597 & 600 FOR PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS FROM D. R. HORTON, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and accept a Final Plat of Easement for public improvements for Highland
Woods—Neighborhood B Lots 595, 596, 597 & 600, Elgin, IL from D. R. Horton, Inc. regarding
the property legally described on said plat prepared by Mackie Consultants, LLC., dated
September 25, 2023, last revised September 25, 2023, a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Final Plat of
Easement for Highland Woods—Neighborhood B Lots 595, 596, 597& 600, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
