HomeMy WebLinkAbout23-204 Resolution No. 23-204 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PLAT OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FROM ELGIN ASC REAL ESTATE VENTURES, LLC AND ACCEPTANCE FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE SITE LOCATED AT 2440 ALFT LANE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute and accept a Plat of Easement for public improvements for 2440 Alft Lane, Elgin, IL from Elgin ASC Real Estate Ventures, LLC regarding the property legally described on said plat prepared by R.E. Allen and Associates, LTD:, dated April 8, 2022, last revised January 25, 2023, a copy of which is attached hereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE,CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Plat of Easement,to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts,for ownership and maintenance certain public improvements within 2440 Alft Lane which will include sidewalks. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the following city maintained facilities: Approximately 440 lineal feet of 5-foot sidewalk and all their respective appurtenances to the City maintained facilities. s/David J.
