AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A FINAL PLAT OF EASEMENT FROM D. R. HORTON,
INC.—MIDWEST FOR HIGHLAND WOODS—NEIGHBORHOOD H LOTS 264,265 &267
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and accept a Plat of Easement for sidewalk improvements for Highland
Woods Neighborhood H Lots 264, 265 & 267 from D. R. Horton, Inc. — Midwest regarding the
property legally described on said plat prepared by Mackie Consultants, LLC dated January 18,
2023, last revised March 27, 2023, a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS,that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Plat of Easement for
Highland Woods Neighborhood H Lots 264,265&267 to be recorded in the office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
