RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A FINAL PLAT OF EASEMENT FROM KANE
HOLDINGS LLC AND ACCEPTANCE FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE
CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE SITE LOCATED AT 1001 NORTH
RANDALL ROAD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and accept a Final Plat of Easement for watermain purposes for 1001 North
Randall Road from Kane Holdings LLC regarding the property legally described on said plat
prepared by Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. dated March 24, 2022, last revised on April 7,
2022, a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Final Plat of
Easement for 1001 North Randall Road to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of
Kane County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public
improvements within 1001 North Randall Road which will include watermains,valves,vaults,and
fire hydrants. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the following City maintained
facilities: Approximately 1,860 lineal feet of 8-inch watermain; six 8-inch valves in vaults; four
fire hydrants and their appurtenances to the City maintained facilities.
