RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PLAT OF DEDICATION&EASEMENT GRANT
FROM CONOR GLOBE ELGIN III LLC AND ACCEPTANCE FOR OWNERSHIP AND
MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE SITE LOCATED AT
2701-2801 GALVIN DRIVE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and accept a Plat of Dedication&Easement Grant for watermain, sanitary,
and stormwater detention purposes for 2701-2801 Galvin Drive from Conor Globe Elgin III LLC
regarding the property legally described on said plat prepared by Manhard Consulting dated April
16, 2019, last revised on March 31, 2021 a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Plat of Dedication
& Easement Grant for 2701-2801 Galvin Drive to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public
improvements within 2701-2801 Galvin Drive which will include watermains, sanitary sewers,
sidewalks and trees. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the following city
maintained facilities: Approximately 3,100 lineal feet of 8-inch watermain; 733 lineal feet of 12-
inch watermain; seven 8-inch valves in 4-foot vaults; two 12-inch valves in 4-foot vaults; 10 fire
hydrants; 2,490 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer; ten 4-foot diameter sanitary manholes;
13,315 square feet of sidewalk; 21 parkway trees and their appurtenances to the City maintained
facilities.
