FOR IMPROVEMENT UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE FOR THE
APPROPRIATION OF 2015 MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH THE
LARKIN AVENUE RESURFACING PROJECT
adopted by the Elgin City Council at its legally convened meeting held on October 26, 2022.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the corporate seal of the
City of Elgin at the said City in the County and State aforesaid this October 27, 2022.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
1. That the proposed improvement shall consist of
HMA surface course removal, pavement patching, HMA leveling binder and surface courses, sidewalk and curb
and gutter, pavement markings, detector loop replacement, and all other incidental items to complete the work on
FAU Route 2423 (Larkin Avenue)from Airlite Street to McLean Boulevard in the City of Elgin.
2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of One hundred sixty four thousand nine hundred nineteen dollars and
ninety four cents. Dollars( $164,919.94 )for the improvement of
said section from the Local Public Agency's allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Clerk is hereby directed to transmit four(4)certified originals of this resolution to the district office
of the Department of Transportation.
