APPROPRIATION OF 2009 MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH THE
ROUTE 31/STATE STREET& WING STREET INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
adopted by the Elgin City Council at its legally convened meeting held on October 26, 2022.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
1. That the proposed improvement shall consist of
resurfacing and widening IL Route 31 and Wing Street to add curb and gutter, medians, and traffic signal
improvements to provide improved traffic channelization through this intersection.
2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Four Hundred Eighty One Thousand, Five Hundred Six Dollars and
Sixty Five cents Dollars( $481,506.65 )for the improvement of
said section from the Local Public Agency's allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Clerk is hereby directed to transmit four(4)certified originals of this resolution to the district office
of the Department of Transportation.
