RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PLAT OF EASEMENT/VACATION FROM GIFFORD
300,LLC AND ACCEPTANCE FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE SITE LOCATED AT 1325 BLUFF CITY
BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and accept a Plat of Easement/Vacation for public sidewalk and stormwater
management purposes for 1325 Bluff City Boulevard from Gifford 300, LLC regarding the
property legally described on said plat prepared by Mackie Consultants,LLC dated April 16,2021,
last revised on October 28, 2021, a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Plat of
Easement/Vacation for 1325 Bluff City Boulevard to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public
improvements within 1325 Bluff City Boulevard which will include public sidewalks. Acceptance
of the public improvements will add the following City maintained facilities: 4,150 square feet of
sidewalk and their appurtenances to the City maintained facilities.
